God Is Love

 UNIT: GOD IS: UNDERSTANDING THE CHARACTER OF GOD

LESSON: GOD IS LOVE. 

I. God is love, and love is of God. – 1 John 4:7-10; II. We must confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and love one another. – 1 John 4:11-15; 

III. Because God loved us first, we may have confidence in the day of judgement. – 1 John 4:16-19. 

We can only truly know love by knowing God.
